The project’s objective is to develop teachers’ competence in planning and implementing outdoor educational activities. Teachers participating in the project will learn to design educational activities that are engaging and stimulating for students, allowing them to learn actively and interactively.
The project involves a series of activities, including:
- Integrating different skills and best practices from partner schools;
- Sharing educational experiences at the local and national levels;
- Creating and implementing outdoor lessons in various subjects;
- Presenting project results at the local and international levels. The project has the potential to contribute to improving education in primary schools, making it more active and engaging. Here are some specific examples of how the project could be implemented:
- A math teacher could organize an outdoor lesson where students measure the dimensions of a tree or another natural object.
- A science teacher could organize an outdoor lesson where students observe animals or plants in their natural environment.
- A history teacher could organize an outdoor lesson where students visit a historical or archaeological site. The project results could be used to create a manual or resource kit for teachers intending to implement outdoor educational activities in their schools.
